Uninstall

🔗Uninstallation (Steam)

  1. Right-click the game inside Steam, choose Properties > Installed files > Verify the integrity of game files. Wait for the check and download to finish.
  2. Done. You now have the vanilla censored Steam version.

This will leave some unused files from the patch inside your game installation folder. They are harmless, but if you want to remove absolutely everything you can browse the game installation folder and delete everything except Game.exe and the saves folder, then repeat step 1 above. The vanilla game will be re-downloaded, and your saves will be kept.

🔗Uninstallation (GOG or DRM-free)

NOTE: Uninstalling requires a backup of the original game installation folder, which you should have made if you followed the Installation guide. If you don't have a backup, you should keep the saves folder and reinstall the game from scratch.

  1. Browse your game installation folder and delete everything except the saves folder.
  2. Copy the content of your backup (except the saves folder if you had one) into the current game installation folder.
  3. Done. You now have the vanilla censored version.

🔗Where's the game installation folder?

If you have the Steam version, you can reach the installation folder by right-clicking on the game inside Steam, and selecting Manage > Browse Local Files.

If you have the GOG version, or another DRM-free version, you should know where you installed it.
